WD hydraulics problem

The hydraulic pump is driven off a cam, which is ON the transmission input shaft. If you disengage the foot clutch, that shaft with the cams, stops turning, and the pump will not work. wd camshaft timing

wd camshaft timing. I am overhauling my WD. I didn't pay attention when I was disassembling it and now that I am putting it back together, I don't know which mark on the camshaft to line up with the line on the crank gear. My camshaft gear has two marks opposite each other. The book says to use the mark opposite the keyway in the camshaft.

Oil Change Questions WD45

If it doesn't get used in the winter, a modern 15w-40 dino oil would be better than 10w-30. Change every 100 hours or yearly, whichever comes first. If used in the winter, I would recommend Mobil 1 5w-40 turbo diesel oil year around and changing once per year or every 200 hours, which ever comes first.

What kind of oil to use

You'll need 5 1/2 gallons to refill everything except the final drive pans which take about 1 1/2 quarts each. You could use 80-90 wt in them if you like or Hy-Tran. Some use the 85-90 weight oil in the final drives as those pans tend to leak anyway, and the Hy-tran is lighter than the 85-90.

WD45 Front Loader Lift Capacity?

On the farm wd,wd45,180,200,7020,8010,8050,f,L2,2 b engines. WD 90 loader was listed as 1500 lb lift capacity. and came with a 9 CF bucket. which is about 1100 lbs of manure. Mine with a set of wheel wieghts and a cab has no problem with 1000 lbs. it will get hard to steer.
